Montelbano out, will be in / Sandro blessé

Written by Matrix team at 19:07 6/9-2013

Unfortunatly, Sandro Montelbano get injured today, in Monaco TT. « Ride fast is good, but stay on your bike is better » said the Manager Thomas Anderson. A private joke probably, quite funny when you know Thomas' bike was stolen the last week and that he won't ride for some weeks, being short of cash.

And because of this injury, Sandro won't be there for the 2 last races of the season, including the World Championship ITT. A shame when you know what he can do, but we'lll try to use this injury at our advantage.
He won't be able to race for a week ? So he won't race for 3 or 4 weeks ! We are going to recharge his top form for Essex ! But that's not all.

Maybe some of you know that we'll hire a new rider soon : Tom Gustavsen. Firstly because he is a great time trialer, but also because he will allow us to sign for for Cymru Taith, a second division tour alike Essex, where Montelbano could be as good as in Essex. So no need to say that with TF, he will be really hard to challenge.

Hillers, Time trialers, climbers, captains, be warned, Montelbano is coming in Wales.

  ------------------------------------------------------------------

I give up using my TF for Jégou in next's Essex: nobody - NOBODY - can beat a TF Montelbano!
Unless he gets injured, he'll win both Cymru and Essex.

I'll use Jégou's TF in Vuelta or GT.

Matrix team at 09:27 7/9-2013
No Gustavsen won't be captain : he fits Cymru quite good, but Montelbano is better IMO.
Gustavsen may join as TM and TTer. Not sure yet.

Joss at 01:05 7/9-2013
So you won't use Gustavsen as captain? You hired him just so you can join Cymru?

Matrix team at 22:33 6/9-2013
In fact 45 days rule was to say it takes about 45 days to recharge i think, but anyway Montelbano used his last TF about 6 seasons ago

Matrix team at 22:32 6/9-2013
45 days rule is a myth lol
It should take about 25-30 days max to drop to 75 RS, then 3 days for 3 races, and 5 days of RB.
And Cymru sign up ends day 39, so i have 50 days ^^

NightmareChaos at 22:32 6/9-2013
  Thanks

NightmareChaos at 22:32 6/9-2013
Yes, you can not create topform within 45 days of the previous one. I think that implies the 65/75 thing also.

NightmareChaos at 21:13 6/9-2013
